Traditional Chinese Medicine
Tui-Na is a vigorous, therapeutic Chinese massage style that incorporates the following:
Acupressure Points: special points on your body that applying pressure relieves tension and promotes wellness. These are the same points used by an acupuncturist and follow energetic meridians throughout the body.
Gua Sha Scraping: a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. This can release unhealthy elements from injured areas, break up fascial adhesions, and stimulate blood flow and healing.
Cupping: a therapy in which suction cups are applied to certain points on the body in order to stimulate the flow of energy and promote the release of fascial adhesions.
